Job summary

Vega Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and lifecycle analysis of electronic hardware and embedded firmware for next-generation products.

You will bridge complex circuit design with low-level software, driving projects from architecture to production. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in regulated environments, strong FPGA and Verilog experience, and a solid understanding of ISO 14971 and IEC 62304.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Systems Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in medical device or highly regulated environments.
• 7+ years in mixed-signal designs using FPGAs.
• Exposure to IEC 62304 software lifecycle processes.
• Experience with ISO 14971 risk management principles.
• Proven ability to define and manage system, sub-assembly, and board-level requirements.
• Experience with Verilog for FPGA development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, schematic capture, and mixed-signal PCB layout for complex electronic systems.
• Develop, debug, and optimize embedded C/C++ firmware tightly coupled to hardware.
• Perform board bring-up, signal integrity analysis, and system-level verification.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams for DFM and regulatory compliance.
