Job summary

Abaco Systems, a global leader in rugged embedded computing, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and supervise electrical systems including SBCs, FPGA/DSP carrier boards, and I/O products. You will lead technology areas, translate customer requirements into robust solutions, and drive innovation in product architecture and manufacturing-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Intel/ARM embedded processors, FPGAs, MPSoCs, or RFSoCs.
• Design for manufacturability and signal integrity.
• Experience with embedded Linux and low-level software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design SBCs, FPGA/DSP carrier boards and I/O products following established processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to derive circuit board requirements and validate designs.
• Perform board bring-up, verification, and debugging to ensure reliability.
