The role offers immediate responsibility, technical leadership, and the opportunity to shape the direction of a rapidly growing MEP practice within a financially strong firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
• Experience with mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or similar projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power distribution and lighting design for medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Oversee emergency and standby power systems, including generators, UPS, and transfer equipment.
• Perform and review electrical calculations, equipment sizing, panel schedules, and system studies.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IBC, and applicable local codes.
• Review fault current, selective coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, and Neher-McGrath analyses.
• Review submittals, RFIs, construction documents, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and QA/QC oversight.
