Job summary

U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Wahiawa, Hawaii, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the NCTAMS Pac regional power systems. You will oversee emergency generators and UPS, evaluate assets, conduct surveys, and plan upgrades for mission-critical power.

This senior role involves developing statements of work, performing technical reviews, and standardizing electrical power procedures across the command. A DoD-level security clearance and DoD travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree meeting ABET accreditation criteria.
• Professional registration (EI/EIT) or PE encouraged.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or equivalent.
• 60 semester hours in engineering/physical sciences may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of emergency generators and UPS for NCTAMS PAC activities.
• Evaluate assets, anticipate and identify problem areas; conduct surveys and studies.
• Plan, design and program projects to repair, upgrade or replace mission-critical power equipment.
• Develop and review statements of work; perform technical reviews and designs.
