Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for critical facilities. You will lead design on mission critical projects, supervise teams, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other engineers.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, CAD/REVIT, and strong leadership in a consulting context. The position offers a four-day in-office schedule with Friday remote work, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering is required.
• 8+ years in a consulting/MEP engineering role.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on design experience with CAD/REVIT and strong technical skills.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish design standards, specs, and criteria for projects.
• Supervise reports and analyze system options and conditions.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary work with other trades and consultants.
• Monitor staff-client communications and project correspondence.
• Oversee construction administrative duties (RFIs, bulletins, addenda).
• Participate in quarterly technical leadership activities and evaluations.
• Support Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in staff training.
