Job summary

Material Handling Systems, Inc. is looking for a Sr Electrical Engineer to design complete control solutions for conveyor systems used in distribution and warehouse applications. Candidates will be involved in deploying complex material handling solutions and must have experience with relevant technologies.

The ideal candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision, effectively communicate, and lead design projects. Qualifications include a B.S. degree in Engineering and 5-8 years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

• Capable of effectively applying technical knowledge to solve various problems.
• Able to detect, recognize, and analyze problems systematically.
• Experience with AutoCAD‑Electrical (ACAD‑E) to create electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial network protocols.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and UL508A standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall system design using IEC/US standards.
• Utilize Autodesk ACAD-E and other tools to complete control panel drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and deploy complex controls solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify common problems and solutions.
• Lead design projects and coordinate efforts with other engineers.
