Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and lead the design of electrical control systems for safe, effective, and efficient operation of Forgent products and processes. The role requires ensuring quality and production standards, and meeting customer documentation and delivery requirements.

You will lead design, review specifications, and develop electrical design packages using advanced tools, while driving continuous improvement across processes and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• 7+ years of engineering experience, including leadership or advanced technical responsibilities.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and engineering tools.
• Experience supporting product assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and development of electrical control systems, ensuring alignment with standards and customer requirements.
• Review customer specifications and project documents, guiding engineering and design teams.
• Use design software to develop and oversee electrical design packages.
• Improve design processes by implementing standardized practices and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design, manufacturing, and quality issues.
