Base pay range: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and design expertise on complex, multidisciplinary projects. This position involves overseeing electrical design from initial survey through final inspection, managing technical teams, and delivering innovative solutions for mission‑critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design efforts for medium and large‑scale projects.
  • Develop construction drawing packages and specifications with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct field surveys, identify non‑compliant conditions, and propose solutions.
  • Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical training and develop documentation for internal and external use.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to strategic project planning.

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
  • 10-15+ years of MEP experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Active Secret or Top‑Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Critical power system design (UPS, generators, transfer switches).
  • Familiarity with industrial/network communications protocols.
  • Knowledge of control systems, PLC/HMI programming, and telemetry.
  • Experience with PV and Energy Storage Systems design.
  • Proficiency with SKM or ETAP software.
  • PMP certification and project management experience.
