Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd is a multi-discipline engineering firm in Jacksonville, Florida. We seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical building systems and lead project teams.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D construction documents with Revit, performing energy modeling for LEED, and coordinating with in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners. We offer a hybrid schedule, 401(k) with match, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 7–10 years in experience in the electrical consulting business (large systems).

Responsibilities

• Support the company with the design of complex electrical systems.
• Lead the preparation of 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using Revit.
• Prepare documents, calculations, and energy modeling studies for LEED certification.
• Lead design efforts with in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
• Plan project production process.
• Lead contract administration duties including site visits and submittal review.
• Perform project management of a multi-discipline team of engineers
