Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking an Electrical Engineer at Intermediate, Senior, or Principal level for onsite roles in Long Island, NY. The role emphasizes analog/mixed-signal circuit design, motion control, and power electronics, with level based on experience.

You will work across product development phases and mentor junior engineers. The candidate will lead design decisions, perform simulations and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred for senior roles.
• 3+ years for Engineer level; 7+ for Senior; 15+ for Principal.
• Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design background and power electronics experience.
• Familiarity with motion control systems and motor drive concepts.
• Experience with ASIC design/simulation tools and PCB design software.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and verify analog/mixed-signal and motion control hardware.
• Participate in all phases of product development from requirements to production support.
• Perform circuit simulations, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs on schedule.
• Senior engineers provide technical leadership and mentorship.
