Abonmarche in Kalamazoo, MI seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and layout for diverse projects. You will model systems in 3D, develop 2D construction drawings, and produce Revit-based construction documents. The role requires strong CAD skills and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) and 5+ years of experience; PE or EIT is preferred. Office work with field site visits is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Professional Engineering licensure or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical engineering design and layout of systems for commercial, industrial, correctional, and parks projects.
• Design and model electrical systems in 3D including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and security.
• Prepares 2D construction details for electrical systems including power distribution One-Line Diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Model lighting systems in photometric software for general and emergency lighting.
• Produces electrical drawings using AutoDesk Revit.
• Attend site visits to take measurements and document conditions.
• Assist in reports, specifications, and probable construction cost estimates.
• Provide support for other departments as needed.
