Coffman Engineers is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead and manage design for data center, mission-critical, and energy projects in the San Diego area. You will produce drawings, calculations, and reports while coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

This role requires a PE license and at least 10 years of electrical systems design experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. Hybrid work schedule and ongoing mentoring of junior engineers are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Electrical PE license required.
• At least 10 years of electrical systems design experience.
• Knowledge of applicable U.S. codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical modeling and power system studies.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Lead and manage electrical engineering design for data center, mission-critical, and energy projects, producing drawings, specifications, calculations, studies, and reports. Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, support projects through design and construction, perform quality reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, an electrical engineering PE license, and at least 10 years of electrical systems design experience.
