You will work on medium- and low-voltage systems, UPS equipment, generators, and redundant distribution, with emphasis on reliability and safety. The role requires a ABET degree, 5–10+ years of experience, strong SKM Power Tools skills, knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE 1584, with EIT/PE preferred.
Design and model electrical power distribution systems for mission-critical data centers and healthcare facilities, including medium- and low-voltage systems, UPS equipment, generators, and redundant distribution. Perform short-circuit, protective-device coordination, and arc-flash studies; prepare reports and provide technical guidance for design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and approximately 5–10+ years of experience designing power systems for mission-critical projects, data centers, or healthcare facilities. Candidates should have strong SKM Power Tools expertise, knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, experience with critical power equipment, and an EIT or PE license is desired.
