Responsibilities

The Staff Electrical Engineer leads the design, development, modification, and analysis of complex electronic systems and products. This role focuses on hardware and power electronics, including power supply design and system integration, while ensuring designs meet performance, cost, manufacturability, and customer requirements. The engineer serves as a technical leader, guiding less-experienced engineers, resolving issues in existing systems, and supporting proposal and R&D activities in a largely self-directed environment.
- Lead a group of engineers on technical activities, ensuring completion of work on time and within budget.
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, and subsystems, with emphasis on power electronics and electrical systems.

This role operates in a research and development environment where engineering teams work with a high degree of independence and minimal day-to-day direction. The position follows a 9/80 schedule and typically requires three days onsite (Tuesday through Thursday), with the option to work from home on Monday and Friday. Work involves modern engineering tools such as circuit simulation software, Circuit Card CAD applications like ALTIUM, and engineering drawing tools such as CANVAS. The pay range for this position is $108000.00 - $144570.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
