Actalent invites applications for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead analog/mixed-signal design and control-system development in a space-focused environment. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, oversee testing, and ensure safety and performance standards across projects.
You will drive PCB design from schematic to layout, collaborate with external partners, and mentor junior engineers while advancing innovative space technologies in a collaborative setting.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of analog circuits and electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical components across platforms, ensuring optimal functionality. Your role involves overseeing the analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to enhance performance and reliability. You will develop and implement control algorithms and systems tailored to specific operational needs. Additionally, you will coordinate with external partners and suppliers to source high-quality electrical components that align with project goals. You will also provide mentorship and guidance in electrical engineering principles to junior engineers and the broader project team, drafting comprehensive technical documentation to ensure clear communication and adherence to project parameters. Staying updated on industry advancements, particularly in electrical engineering and related technologies, is essential.
The role is on-site, requiring presence 5 days a week, from 8am to 4pm. The work environment is casual, allowing for jeans and polo attire. The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
