Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead complex projects in the Miami area. You will guide designs from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and high quality standards.

The role requires a Florida PE license (or ability to obtain quickly) and at least five years of design and project management experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP. Collaboration with architects and other engineering teams is essential for integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• PE license in Florida or ability to obtain promptly.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical design and project management experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP and related electrical design tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on equipment, materials, and system selection to optimize performance and efficiency.

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus

Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience focused on design and project management

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain licensure promptly

Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP

Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code
