Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to support a growing engineering consulting practice in Marietta, GA. You will lead electrical design efforts across industrial, federal, and municipal projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license (EIT accepted), strong experience with high‑voltage infrastructure, Revit and AutoCAD, and a proven track record in project management and client-facing consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Senior-level electrical engineering and design experience.
• Experience with building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency power.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts on projects and review drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project documentation.
• Support design, project execution, and project management across facilities.
• Provide site and construction support as needed.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to support a growing engineering consulting firm in Marietta, GA. This individual will serve as a technical leader on electrical engineering projects, supporting design, project execution, and project management efforts across industrial, federal, and municipal facilities. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with strong experience in electrical system design, high-voltage infrastructure, and multidisciplinary project coordination.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Senior-level electrical engineering and design experience.

Strong experience with building electrical systems, including:Power distributionLightingFire alarm systemsEmergency power

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design and construction documents.

Experience leading electrical design efforts and reviewing drawings and calculations.

Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes and requirements.

Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.

Experience with quality control, construction support, and project documentation.

Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.

Ability to work onsite in Marietta, GA.PE License preferred (EIT accepted)

High-voltage substation experience

Project management experience

Experience supporting healthcare projects, particularly VA hospitals or medical facilities.

Experience supporting federal, municipal, industrial, or utility-related projects.
