Auriga Space is seeking a senior electrical engineer to drive hardware projects from requirements through testing and commissioning. The role suits a hands-on, startup-minded engineer who thrives in a small, high-performing team working on cutting-edge electromagnetic launch technology.
Responsibilities include design, testing, and troubleshooting of power electronics and analog systems, prototyping support, and clear documentation. A bachelor’s degree and ≥5 years of experience are required.
Auriga is developing novel electromagnetic launch technology for on-demand orbital access. Our system replaces the first stage of a traditional rocket with a ground-based accelerator, drastically reducing costs and enabling rapid, reusable launch capabilities. We work at the intersection of aerospace, advanced power electronics, and control systems to deliver new capabilities for space and defense.
We are looking for a senior electrical engineer to join our team and help drive hardware projects through their life cycle: starting with requirements generation, concept development, detail design, manufacturing, and finally testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment and be excited to work with a small, high-performing, and hands-on team.
