Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a background in PCI, bus architectures, FPGA/CPLD Programmable logic, Xilinx, Altera, Digital Design, mil-spec, space program, debug, analog design, and related fields.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop complex electrical systems, including hardware and software components
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met
3. Conduct research and development to improve existing products and develop new technologies
4. Create and maintain schematics, PWB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
5. Perform circuit analysis and simulation to ensure performance and reliability
6. Debug and troubleshoot complex electrical systems
7. Develop and maintain documentation such as design specs, test plans, and reports
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
• Strong understanding of PCI, bus architectures, PCIe, VME, FPGA/CPLD, Xilinx, Altera, and digital design
• Experience with mil-spec, space programs, debugging, analog design, and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required
