RRC Solutions Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to serve as a technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. You will lead design, calculations, and specifications for major projects, ensuring cross-discipline integration and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a PE license, an ABET-accredited degree, and 10–15 years of MEP and fire protection design with a proven leadership track.

Formación

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10 to 15 years of engineering design and project management experience, specifically with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee the integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform quality control reviews at key milestones, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide engineering oversight during construction including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.

Base Salary: Up to $160,000

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Design: Lead the design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• System Integration: Oversee the cohesive integration of electrical systems alongside civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Project Oversight & QC: Perform quality control reviews at key milestones, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide engineering oversight during construction—including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineering staff, partner with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
