Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to develop and support next-generation medical diagnostic products throughout the full product lifecycle.

You will design and test embedded hardware and firmware, create schematics, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to V&V and manufacturing transfers. Requires 5–10+ years in electrical engineering and experience with OrCAD/Altium/Allegro; BLE/WiFi and battery-powered design preferred.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with embedded hardware and firmware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

  • Perform root-cause/failure analysis and production support.

  • Create test protocols, ECOs, specifications, and technical documentation.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design microcontroller-based, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry.
  • Create schematics and support PCB layout.
  • Perform root-cause/failure analysis and production support.
  • Support V&V, manufacturing transfer, and regulatory compliance.
  • Create test protocols, ECOs, specifications, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong embedded hardware, firmware, PCB, and circuit troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with OrCAD, Altium, Allegro, or similar.

Medical device, IEC 60601, BLE/WiFi, battery-powered design, and manufacturing test experience are highly preferred.
