Job summary

• Strong communication, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

We're partnering with an innovative aerospace and defence technology business seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its R&D team in Herndon, Virginia.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced electro-optical systems, working across exciting short-term projects and longer-term research and development programmes.

The Opportunity:

You’ll collaborate with talented Electrical, Mechanical and Optical Engineers to develop, integrate, test and troubleshoot electronics for advanced laser systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For:

Additional Experience That Would Be Valuable

• Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
• A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Development of high-reliability military or space-flight hardware.
• FPGA/CPLD design, simulation and troubleshooting.
• LiDAR or other electro-optical systems.
