Engtal in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical designs for comprehensive building renovations and retrofits. You will develop power distribution, lighting, and controls, and coordinate drawings and specs using Revit while interfacing with clients and construction teams to ensure project success.

Formación

• Active Professional Engineer license.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of electrical design experience in renovations/retrofits.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and control systems.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.

Responsabilidades

Senior Electrical Engineer | Building Electrification & Energy Efficiency

Location: Remote out of Colorado with ocassional travel

Your designs should do more than sit in a drawing set.

I'm partnering with an integrated design-build firm that transforms aging buildings into efficient, high-performing facilities. They're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who enjoys tackling complex renovations, owning their designs and seeing projects through construction.

You'll work alongside engineering, construction and commissioning teams to deliver building upgrades that reduce energy use, improve infrastructure and support decarbonization.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical design for commercial, institutional and industrial building renovations and retrofits
• Design power distribution, lighting and controls, generator systems and related building electrical infrastructure
• Develop coordinated drawings, calculations and specifications using Revit
• Work directly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams throughout project delivery
• Review submittals and shop drawings, answer construction questions and help resolve field challenges
• Ensure designs meet NEC requirements and applicable codes
• Provide technical guidance while managing multiple projects with a high degree of independence

What you'll bring

• An active Professional Engineer license
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Approximately 5-10+ years of electrical design experience, with exposure to existing buildings, renovations and retrofits
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and controls, generator systems and electrical codes
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
• Confidence coordinating with clients and construction teams

Experience with building electrification, energy efficiency, building automation or energy modeling would be a plus.
