**D-Riven Engineered Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering division. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for supporting industrial power distribution designs, infrastructure assessments, and executing electrical system installations, modifications, and relocations in a manner consistent with D-Riven and Customer expectations and National Electrical Codes.********Starting Pay Range: $101,000 - $110,000 annually****Essential Duties & Responsibilities:****In this position, the employee will be responsible to:**Uphold D-Riven’s health and safety standards throughout the execution of a given project, along with ensuring compliance with customer safety rules and regulationsWork with Electrification Team peers and other team members to conduct site surveys and generate power distribution system designs and installation plansComplete infrastructure evaluations of existing power systems to verify capacity, load, etc. and generate one-line drawingsSupport the lead designer in the development of industrial power distribution systemsResearch and adhere to all applicable electrical and building codes and accepted best practicesWork with municipalities and inspectors on permitted projectsCoordinate with internal and external customer management teams in support of electrical project costing, quoting, and planning activitiesWork with D-Riven’s operations team, and program managers to develop comprehensive timelines and resource plans prior to project kick-offDevelop project level material lists and supply them to those responsible for purchasingSupport the sourcing of technical system components and determine the compatibility of alternate options as dictated by project constraintsManage electrical superintendents, electricians, and subcontractors and provide direction regarding the execution of activities, and supervise their quality of work while on siteConduct and verify lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) of electrical sources prior to commencement of workWork with internal teams to disassemble electrical power distribution equipment, replace defective, worn, or failed system components, and reassembleMeasure, cut, and bend EMT conduit, and thread rigid conduit in support of installationsField fit and install Unistrut frames and hangers, cable tray, and conduit pipingComplete manual, and mechanically supported wire pulls and terminationsSupport field teams in the troubleshooting and correction of electrical system issues both remotely and on siteCollaborate with low voltage/controls specialists to ensure the seamless integration of complex systemsSupport arc flash studies and generate appropriate labels upon the completion projectsPerform other routine tasks and jobsite duties as directed by department management******Skills & Requirements:****To be qualified for the position, applicants will be expected to:**Travel frequently (60%-80% travel) and for extended periods of time (two to three weeks), and complete work nationwideOwn and maintain a vehicle that is reliable and suited for interstate travelOwn and maintain a basic set of hand tools (wrenches and sockets <1”/25mm, screwdrivers, etc.)Possess mastery of the reading and interpretation of electrical schematics, and manualsPossess mastery of the use of electrical equipment and hand tools including:Manual pipe benders, electric/hydraulic pipe benders – bending pipe up to 4,” knock-outs, Unistrut shears, cable cutters and crimpers, wire feeders and tuggers, and multimetersDemonstrate familiarity withengineering design softwares such as Autodesk Electrical SuiteExhibit strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsDemonstrate solid electrical aptitude and applicable mathematical abilityPresent knowledge and ability to adhere to all applicable codes and accepted best practicesWork nights and weekends/variable schedules and additional hours as necessary******Required Experience and/or Education:**Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or an associated fieldMaster Electrician certification and associated journeyman electrician license10+ years of combined experience in electrical engineering, industrial electrical installation or maintenance, or an equivalent fieldExperience in operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered equipmentNote: The duties and responsibilities listed above are intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this position.
