Job summary

SSOE is seeking mid-to-senior level Electrical Designers with strong Revit experience for our Industrial Facilities team. You will develop and coordinate detailed electrical designs, create and manage Revit models, and work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for leading industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification of completion of other post-secondary training in engineering field preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of electrical designer experience.
• Advanced experience with Revit software is required.
• Experience within the industrial facilities space and ability to execute related designs.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• May serve as lead designer on assigned projects.
• Develop and coordinate designs using Revit and other design tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams.
• Provide direction to design staff and CAD/Revit support personnel.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and design coordination.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and project requirements.
• Applies standard design techniques and procedures exercising judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to design concepts.
• Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
• Coordinates and directs the work effort of designers on the same project with some responsibility for checking portions of the completed drawings.
