Job summary

SSOE is seeking a mid-to-senior level Electrical Designer with strong Revit experience for our Industrial Facilities team. The role focuses on developing and coordinating electrical designs, building and managing Revit models, and collaborating with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for leading industrial clients.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with regular commuting to the Toledo, Ohio office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in engineering preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of electrical designer experience.
• Advanced experience with Revit is required; familiarity with lighting software.

Responsibilities

• May serve as lead designer on assigned projects.
• Develop and coordinate designs using Revit and other design tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams.
• Provide direction to design staff and CAD/Revit support personnel.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and design coordination.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and project requirements.
• Applies standard design techniques with minor adaptations.
• Coordinates and directs the work of designers on the project.
• Prepares addendums and bulletins; initiates change orders.
• Attends construction meetings and produces site observation reports.
