Job summary

You will create complete high-quality schematics and layouts, perform surveys and calculations, and coordinate with peers, suppliers and clients. As a senior member, you may lead project phases, review shop drawings in construction administration, and help train junior staff. This role requires strong organization and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as a designer on a professional engineering project team.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage tight deadlines with multiple projects.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create complete high-quality trade schematics and layouts.
• Perform surveys, calculations, selections, and layouts.
• Lead design communications with peers, supervisors, vendors, clients and stakeholders.
• Support construction administration: review shop drawings, field observations, and prepare reports.
• Potentially assume Job Captain adjunct function and train teammates.
