Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in West Des Moines, Iowa. You will be responsible for designing electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for advanced manufacturing facilities using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design.
• 5+ years of Revit design experience.
• Experience as a BIM lead for at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems.
• Create 2D/3D models and sketches using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate delivery of electrical packages with engineers.
• Develop staffing plans and manage project schedules.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance.
