Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks an Electrical Design Engineer in the Systems Integration Group to design analog, power, and mixed-signal hardware for advanced semiconductor test systems.

You will collaborate with global teams from concept through validation, optimize components, run simulations, and contribute to automation and AI-enabled design workflows to improve efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of analog and power circuit design experience.
Advanced experience with DC-DC power conversion and SMPS topologies.
Proficient with PCB schematic capture and EDA tools (Siemens Xpedition, Cadence OrCAD, KiCad or similar).
Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice or PSpice.
Experience operating lab test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads).

Responsibilities

Design analog, power, and mixed-signal circuits from concept through validation.
Evaluate and select components to meet performance, reliability, and cost goals.
Develop schematics and coordinate PCB layouts with designers.
Perform circuit simulations and design verification using standard tools.
Debug and validate PCB assemblies with lab equipment.
Create technical documentation (specs, test plans, validation reports).
Develop scripts to automate design, data analysis, and workflows.
Support prototype deployment and customer validation activities.
Manage engineering changes using CM and version control processes.
Address issues in released products and implement improvements.
Explore AI technologies to improve design and sustaining activities.
