Job summary

Tiltedge Solutions is seeking an electrical design engineer with 5-7 years of experience in off-highway vehicle design to develop detailed drawings and 3D models for enclosures, trays, brackets, and electrical installations.

You will translate rough sketches into precise drawings, ensure compliance with standards, collaborate with operations and offshore teams, and generate BOMs and manufacturing docs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in electrical design for off-highway vehicles.
• Experience creating BOMs and manufacturing docs.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on design specs, including 3D models of enclosures, harnesses, and installations.
• Translate rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into precise drawings with 2D-3D associations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with operations and design engineers to resolve drawing issues and clarify design intent.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in design requirements.
• Create BOMs and other documentation required for manufacturing or construction.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to align on electrical fitment and locations.
• Maintain accurate records and organize drawings systematically.
