Job summary

Design Hire is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead electrical system design activities on complex MEP projects in Belmont, United States. You will drive coordination across disciplines from concept through construction and prepare calculations, diagrams, and technical reports to support execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive MEP electrical design experience, leadership experience, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred or required per project.
• 5+ years MEP Electrical design experience across sectors.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on projects from concept to construction.
• Proficiency in load analysis and energy calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design activities and coordinate deliverables.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, diagrams, and technical reports.
• Design and coordinate power infrastructure including distribution and backup systems.
• Perform field investigations and coordinate with utilities and stakeholders.
• Provide design quality control and Engineer of Record support.
