Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Life Sciences team. This role involves leading electrical design efforts for high-impact pharmaceutical and biotech facilities, including cleanroom systems and critical power distribution. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences facilities.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 99 codes.
• Experience with UPS and emergency power systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical construction drawings for cleanroom facilities.
• Design electrical power distribution systems for critical manufacturing equipment.
• Engineer lighting and emergency egress systems for pharmaceutical facilities.

Skills

Proficiency with Revit

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Electrical analysis tools (e.g., SKM PowerTools, ETAP)

Strong technical writing skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
