Job summary

Stealth Startup in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a one-year contract to design, develop, implement, and analyze electrical systems for new and existing products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions from concept through production.

Responsibilities include designing control and power distribution, drafting schematics, wiring diagrams, wire harnesses, 2D drawings in AutoCAD, and BOM management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical design.
• Experience creating electrical enclosure layouts, relays, contactors, VFDs, and control panels.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Experience using PLM/PDM software (SolidWorks EPDM preferred).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for control and power distribution.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and wire lists.
• Develop wire harness designs and electrical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on 3D enclosure layouts and cable routing.
• Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD and maintain BOMs in ERP.
• Support product development through testing and prototype validation.
• Review customer specifications and ensure cost, manufacturability, quality, and safety.
