ESI, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports for project delivery in Ohio. You will work on CAD-based designs, 3-D model sets, and code-compliant documentation for construction and permit submissions.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with ABET accreditation and at least five years of design experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and SKM Power Tools is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of design engineering experience preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Operate AutoCAD MEP & Revit to develop electrical drawings, including 3-D and permit/construction sets.
• Create electrical project specifications and reports.
• Utilize SKM Power Tools, AmpCalc, CYMCAP, Polywater, FC2 for short circuit, coordination, arc flash, ampacity.
• Prepare electrical engineering letters and reports.
• Apply building codes and standards in design work.
• Conduct field audits and site observation reports.
• Support problem-solving and additional duties as needed.
