Position Description:

Staengl Engineering is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who shares our commitment to designing cutting-edge energy-efficient, high-performance buildings. Ideally, you’ll be a licensed Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial and multi-family residential buildings in Revit. Experience managing MEP projects and designing alternative energy systems and micro-grids is a plus. You’ll be a great fit if you’re self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a small, growing company environment.

Skills / Requirements:

• You have an Electrical Engineering degree
• You have at least 5 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• You hold a Professional Engineer License in Electrical Engineering in at least one U.S. State
• You have expertise in Revit
• You have experience with alternative energy systems (solar, wind)
• You have project management experience
• You are a creative thinker with effective communication and teamwork skills
• LEED AP and experience with BIM are desirable
