Job summary

M.C. Dean's Modular Mission Critical site near Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Designer to develop a comprehensive electrical, communications, and other systems layout based on design and submittals.

You will review drawings, perform capacity calculations, model and coordinate raceways, and contribute to multi-trade coordination; strong NEC knowledge and experience with Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC and related concepts.
• Knowledge of field installation best practices.
• Knowledge of critical design software.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and BIM plans to identify modeling requirements.
• Perform basic capacity and voltage drop calculations.
• Model and coordinate electrical and low-voltage raceways per guidelines.
• Coordinate with multi-trade teams to resolve conflicts.
• Create drawings and sketches; QA the completed work.
• Work under general supervision on the project VDC team.
