Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. supports a growing industrial technology company in Colorado seeking a Senior Controls & Electrical Testing Technician. This hands-on role tests, troubleshoots, commissions, and validates custom-engineered systems before customer delivery.

You will work with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, instrumentation, control panels, and power distribution equipment across 24VDC–480VAC. Strong field and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical, controls, testing, commissioning, or related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing of PLCs, VFDs, motor control, power distribution, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform functional testing of industrial electrical systems from 24VDC through 480VAC.
• Verify wiring, control panels, and instrumentation per engineering specs.
• Document test results and non-conformances; support root-cause investigations.
• Assist with commissioning, startup, and field support activities.
