Qualifications

2+ years experience in industrial controls or design of industrial control systems.
Experience with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL 508A.
Knowledge of IEC 61511 and ISO 13849.
Excellent written, verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Creation of schematics, mechanical assemblies, and layouts using CAD tools.
Make calculations such as heat flow, FLA, and SCCR.
Spec, select, and test electrical components.
Develop and implement standards, symbol libraries, and design templates.
Read P&IDs to create IO lists and define requirements.
Design panels and panel layouts and create loop diagrams for plant construction.
Work with suppliers to procure materials and standardize on available parts.
