Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to design, program, test, and commission advanced industrial control systems for large-scale manufacturing and compressor applications. You will work on Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and FAT from concept through startup.

The role offers a hands-on, full-project-lifecycle environment with collaboration across customers, project managers, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of controls engineering experience.
Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and industrial automation systems.
FAT and commissioning activities knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial control systems and electrical control panels.
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Develop and maintain HMI/operator interfaces.
Lead and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Review P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.
Support installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
