Harris & Co Executive Search has partnered with a well-established food manufacturer to hire a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer in Indiana, USA. This full-time role focuses on electrical engineering, industrial controls, automation and capital projects to improve plant efficiency and equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years in controls/automation, strong Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley PLC experience, and a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in controls, automation or electrical engineering within an Industrial/FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC and automation experience, ideally with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls projects from design and specification through installation, programming, commissioning and startup.
• Design, modify and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, servo, drive, motor, sensor and industrial networking systems.
• Provide hands-on plant-floor support to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance and resolve complex electrical and controls issues.
• Program and modify PLC and HMI systems, including Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms and FactoryTalk environments.

I'm exclusively partnered with a well-established food manufacturer that’s looking to hire an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Engineering team.

This is a hands-on role focused on electrical engineering, industrial controls, automation and capital projects, with the opportunity to directly influence equipment reliability, plant efficiency and manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical and controls projects from design and specification through installation, programming, commissioning and startup.
• Design, modify and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, servo, drive, motor, sensor and industrial networking systems.
• Provide hands-on plant-floor support to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance and resolve complex electrical and controls issues.
• Program and modify PLC and HMI systems, including Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms and FactoryTalk environments.

Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant industry degree
