Job summary

OnQCx is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical team on a large high-tech project. You will coordinate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex electrical issues and ensure startup readiness.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, QA/QC, and communication skills; experience with Procore, Prolog, AutoCAD, Revit, and CSI specs is preferred. This on-site position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction management experience.
• Experience with large hi-tech/industrial projects and coordination of MEP systems.
• Familiarity with CSI specifications and project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead diverse teams.
• Willingness to flex schedule to meet project demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedule and commissioning.
• Interpret construction documents, control sequences, and technical manuals.
• Lead startup meetings with managers, design teams, subcontractors, and owners.
• Coordinate MEP system startups with civil, architectural, and structural elements.
• Review submittals for accuracy and functionality of MEP components.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and record-keeping throughout the project.
• Organize and train client personnel in operations and maintenance.
• Assist with estimating electrical budgets and subcontractor buyouts.
• Ensure on-site safety, quality control, and documentation completeness.
