Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Lead Electrical CAD Engineer for the Data Center Infrastructure Team in Austin, TX, with remote work options. You will own electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring, and power distribution designs for mission critical power and cooling products, coordinating with mechanical and PLM teams to ensure alignment across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical CAD, strong IEC/UL knowledge, and proven ability to drive engineering changes while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of hands-on electrical CAD design experience with industrial or infrastructure equipment.
Strong proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical and/or Edge Electrical.
Experience designing power distribution and control systems for complex, multi-variant products.
Working knowledge of IEC, UL, and regional electrical compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Independently develop and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring designs.
Design and document power distribution, protection, grounding, and control circuits.
Ensure designs meet safety, reliability and serviceability requirements.
Collaborate with mechanical layouts and PLM to align electrical designs with product configurations.
