Job summary

Energy Talent Search is partnering with a manufacturers in Anaheim to lead plant-based electrical and automation projects within a highly technical industrial setting. You will manage projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating with operations, maintenance, contractors, and leadership to deliver reliability and modernization outcomes.

The role demands a strong background in automation, controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems, with hands-on execution in PLCs, SCADA/HMI,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.
7+ years in industrial/manufacturing environments.
3+ years leading capital projects.
Experience with automation, controls, instrumentation, and industrial electrical systems.
Experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, MCCs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

Lead plant-based electrical and automation projects tied to manufacturing operations.
Manage projects from planning through commissioning and turnover.
Support automation systems across process lines and plant ops.
Work with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution.
Coordinate contractors, integrators, vendors, and internal teams.
Drive schedules, budgets, procurement, and technical reviews.
Assist with commissioning, testing, startup activities, and integration.
Improve plant reliability and modernization initiatives.
