Job summary

The Marvin Group, a leading defense contractor based in Southern California near LAX, is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build complex electrical and electromechanical assemblies onsite. This role requires reading blueprints and schematics, performing soldering to IPC standards, and maintaining meticulous production records.

Candidates should have a 2-year technical degree and IPC-610/IPC-620/J-STD-001 certifications, with 5-7 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematics to assemble components.
• Perform IPC-compliant soldering and inspection.
• Identify nonconforming material per AS9100/ISO 9001 procedures.
• Mentor junior assemblers on workmanship standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electrical and electromechanical assemblies per drawings.
• Perform wire routing, crimping, soldering, and harness fabrication.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and ERP/MES data for traceability.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, FOD, and safety standards.
• Train Electrical Assemblers Level I and II on workmanship and processes.
