Job summary

The Marvin Group, a defense contractor based near Los Angeles, seeks a mechanical assembler for onsite work in Southern California. You will assemble, fit, fasten, and install components for military equipment, following blueprints and quality standards. Basic reading, safety, and 1–2 years of assembly experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Technical or vocational training may be required and a mechanical aptitude test may be used.
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints/ drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, fasten, and install subassemblies.
• Align and connect system components per blueprint lines.
• Use hand tools and riveting equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform quality checks to meet standards.
