Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years' experience as electrical apprentice.
• Willingness to stay engaged in the ABA apprenticeship program.
• Interprets complex blueprints, one-lines, and riser diagrams.
• Must be able to distinguish wire colors and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical theory in conduit, wiring, lighting, devices, and equipment installation with minimal supervision.
• Perform advanced electrical installations including conduit layout, feeders, switchgear, and device terminations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice I–III and helpers while supporting field leads.
• Assist Journeyman and Foreman with planning and daily coordination.
