Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Applications Engineer to support the application, design, and sale of advanced HVAC chiller systems. This role is critical in delivering electrically compliant, high-performance solutions for commercial and mission-critical environments, including data centers.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, and electrical code compliance and will serve as a key technical partner to sales, engineering, and product teams. This position plays a vital role in translating customer requirements into robust, safe, and optimized electrical designs.
This position is onsite at our Advanced Development and Engineering Center in New Freedom, PA. An alternative location is San Antonio, TX. Candidates should be commuting distance to either of these facilities, or open to relocation. Various relocation packages are available.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
