Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead electric distribution design programs. You will oversee a steady pipeline, collaborating with utility stakeholders and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to client standards.

The role emphasizes program-based management, portfolio leadership, and growth of the client account, with mentorship for junior PMs and technical leads to shape strategy and amplify

Qualifications

• PM experience supporting electric distribution or utility infrastructure
• Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget in a consulting or utility-facing environment
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with utility clients
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and keep work moving in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in forecasting and financial management, especially in Fixed Fee and Unitized platforms
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technical innovations

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of electric distribution design projects and programs, including overhead and underground work, system upgrades, and modernization efforts
• Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across multiple concurrent projects
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the client, building trusted relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery
• Coordinate work across designers, engineers, and technical leads, ensuring teams have clear priorities and direction
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, fee tracking, and change management
• Ensure work complies with industry and client standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory expectations
• Support permitting and third‑party coordination efforts (municipalities, DOTs, joint‑use utilities) as needed
• Provide construction support and help resolve design‑related issues during build
• For Senior PMs: mentor other PMs and technical leads, help shape program strategy, and support growth of the client account
