Job summary

Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst or Policy Analyst for the Elections Project. This role focuses on election administration research and policy analysis, supporting local election official associations and evaluating bills at the state and federal levels.

You will conduct research, write memos and reports, and engage diverse audiences while reporting to the Senior Associate Director of the Elections Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years of relevant public policy or non-profit experience.
• Advanced degree (MPP/MPA/JD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and draft reports, blogs, explainers, and memos on election administration.
• Draft legislative memos and bill analyses with close readings of statutory and regulatory text.
• Track legislative developments and policy changes across partner states.
• Coordinate meetings and agendas, and represent Elections Project to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a network of election officials and allied organizations.
