Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, safety engineering, occupational safety, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with degree OR 10 years of relevant EH experience in lieu of degree.
• Certified or ability to be certified in First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and federal/state regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001, machine guarding, LOTO, and control of hazardous energy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Examine work environments for hazards and recommend improvements to processes.
• Conduct activities to measure and improve workplace safety culture.
• Coordinate incident investigations and failure analysis for EH&S.
• Provide technical assistance in protective equipment design and process safety.
• Coordinate with OSHA, EPA and other agencies as required.
• Submit periodic EH&S reports to authorities and corporate offices.
